We Got Humming Birds!

I just had to share this one.

I got this photo entirely by accident the other day when I happened to be holding my cell phone when this little guy turned up. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten a halfway decent photo of one of beautiful little birds.

  1. The hummingbird photo is beautiful…. we get a few during the summer months after the flower beds bloom and we dearly love them but their season is too short for our liking….

    1. They are incredible birds, aren’t they? We don’t see them very often and when we do they don’t stay at the feeder for more than a half minute or so before they move on, so getting a photo of one was a pleasant surprise.

    1. They aren’t all that common around here for whatever reason, just seeing one at the feeders is pretty rare for me here. That I was able to get that photo was pure chance. Once the hostas out front come into flower they turn up more frequently.
