this is what it looks like outside right now. Actually it’s worse than that now. I took that photo up there in a bit of a lull. It’s snowing so hard I can hardly see the end of the block right now.
Latest weather report I heard says we could see 14 inches of this stuff by mid-morning tomorrow, along with winds of up to 40 – 50 mph.
Sigh…
And it’s SPRING!!!

Yep, spring time in Wisconsin! I remember — oh, it must be at least 25 years ago, we got 10 inches of snow here on May 10th. Trees were already in full leaf so we had trees and power lines down everywhere.

I need real advice here. Should I start tomato seeds in the window now? I want to, but it looks something like Christmas outside…..

We have ours started in an indoor greenhouse with a heating pad and grow lights. A lot depends on your location and what growing zone you’re in.

I have family in Southern Wisconsin (I am the black sheep) how bad did they get hit? chuq

They didn’t get hit with this. It was mostly confined around Green Bay area. The power outages seem to have bee clustered an area starting around Appleton, north to Green Bay and then to the north and west.
We don’t give the utility company work crews who have to be out in all kinds of weather to fix this enough credit. Damn those guys are good!

I’m here in Southern California, by the coast and it’s 70 degrees outside. I hope you get some warm weather there soon!
Take care

Thanks Ed. We got hammered, though. Heavy wet snow, up to 14 inches in some places, trees and power lines down all over the place. It was nasty.
