Craft and art, together. Yes, beautiful. Glad I don’t have to be a judge if judging there be, I’d give them all 1st prize, including and perhaps especially, the cat.

I’m glad you took pictures of all the exquisite and complex detail on the winner. From a distance it seemed pretty but ordinary. But when you zoom in you see the skill and complexity that caught the judge’s eye.
They are all amazing. So very much work and so amazing.

I had to get some closeups of that one with the three dimensional flowers because it was so hard to see how three dimensional it really was unless I moved up close. The overall effect when seen in person is absolutely amazing. Some of the stitching is amazing. I always look forward to going to this show. Oh, now that MrsGF has finally retired she didn’t have an excuse any longer and she joined the quilters group herself. Hopefully in the next show one of hers will be up there 🙂
